The UK Government OLEV Grant

Since March 2020 the UK government has made available a grant of up to £350 (including VAT) for eligible households/ vehicles towards the installation of home charging point installations.

The qualifying criteria are:

• Your electric car must have been purchased or leased after 30 Sept 2016
• You must use an OLEV approved installer
• You must have off-street parking
• The installation company must be accredited by the charger manufacturer
• You must not have used the OLEV grant scheme before
• The charger must be installed within 4 months of the delivery, or start date, of using the electric vehicle

 This is to encourage the uptake of electric vehicles throughout the UK.
